#12440 - RE: general menu statement |
In the school of hard knocks, I have learned to NEVER access a message by any means except (enum) message number. I have twice been told not to waste time on preparing for multiple languages and later been asked "why does it take so long to make this unit capable of Spanish". Even if your project never get to be multilingual, the effort spent by using message numbers instead of direct access is nominal compared to the grief should you ever be requested to include another language.
