There are millions of posts about various atmel programmers on here, and before people start I am still of the opinion that spi programming on atmel 89s52 is basically broken.Ive been using avrdude to program some atmega8's this weekend with the simplest programmer imaginable, just 4 resistors and a length of parellel cable with out a single problem., and ive never been able to do the same thing with the at89xx with any repeatability.I havent looked into it but I should imagine it would be possible to convince avrdude to work with the 89cxx. |
