Yeah, certainly. These chips even tend to omit the boundary scan, which was the original purpose of JTAG (I don't know about the SiLabs not Ramtron/Goal Versas but for certain the uPSDs don't have the boundary scan implemented in any form).

However, my concern is to give the newbies an initial information in the FAQ, for them this knowledge is superfluous, isn't it...
