The same principles apply!

Note that the spelling is "decimal" - not "decmail"

Note also that the specific display technology (LED) is irrelevant - it's just the 7-Segment part that's important.
(the same principles would apply to 7-Segment LCD, 7-Segment VFD, 7-Segment Incandescent Filament display, etc, etc...)
