in the 80's Steve Ciarcia did a few
columns in Byte Magazine, on chaining together multiple 8051's. i think he did vector math with them. i don't see anything on 8051 when i search
www.byte.com, but you could probably
find them in the public library, using
the annual indices. or order his books that have collections of his columns, from amazon.com, etc.
