Something i have seen before with gcc
if you do something like foo=(blah<<4 + noop>>4)+ 4 gcc will come back saying that it 'suggests' that there should be brackets round the '+' meaning it likes ((blah<<4) + (noop>>4))+ 4 which is the first time I have seen a compiler 'suggest' anything. |
