#125687 - doing your own i2c device |
Hello Forum
I need some i2c i/o - almost like a PCF 8574, but not quite. I search a litle bit here, and inspired by this thread: www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=112381 I thought of using a P89LPC922 to roll my own i2c chip. This device because its cheap - slightly over 1$ in small qty., its available, and development tools are equaly cheap and available. I got a few questions: Is there any caveat's with the LPC series How much effort would have to be put in implementing a simple PCF8574 type i/o in software (C). I have had a look on Code architect wich seens to be a nice tool. Any comments apreachiated Ha en god (tirs)dag Per |
