Detail of the project is as under:

1. Microcontroller 89C51 is going to be used for the project.
2. Rows (07)of the LED Moving Message Display is to be controlled by 74LS42 Decoder IC, which requires BCD (3Digits i.e A, B, C for 07 rows)output from 89C51 port. Rows of all 69 coloumns will selected simultaneously.
3. Coloumns (69 i.e 8X8=64+5=69) are to be controlled by the IC CD4094 (8 Stage Shift & Store Bus Register), it requires Clock, Data & Strobe inputs from the 89C51 Controller Pins 1, 3 & 4 respectively. Each 8 coloumns have one 4094 IC. The Data output of the first 4094 is Q's (Pin#10) and will be Data input to the next 8 Coloumns and so on. Whereas, Clock and Strobe inputs will be parallel connected to enable all 8 coloumns digits.
4. Any message can be displayed as an example.
