#125891 - aduc84x serial download with rs485 |
Is it possible to download code to Aduc-series microcontroller using rs485? As far as I understand the problem is how to drive de and /re on rs485, since aduc doesn't control them on bootload mode. I could try to set de and /re to gnd and just send data to microcontroller without watching the ack's and nack's but that doesn't sound too good and I don't know if it would even work. I can download the code to the controller using rs232, but it would be better to get it work with rs485 since the application isn't going to have rs232 onboard.
