Hello All!
I have made a MENU program using a LCD with 4 bit data bus and a 4 * 4 matrix keyboard. The problem I am arising with is ... If I am clearing the previous display using the COMMAND #01h(which is used for the clear screen, memory and Cursor home), and then try to display the next menu then nothing is displayed on the screen but just a blank screen. If at the time of INTIALIZING the LCD I am using clear display routine then nothing is displayed at intialize. If i am not using the clear display subroutine then the menu is working fine but with probs of visualization of previous menus also. LCD with 8 bit data bus is working fine by using above clear display routine. Is there any other technique for using clear display while we are working on LCD with 4-bit data bus.
