#126250 - AT89C51ED2 XRS bits in AUXR |
HI
Does anybody know for what the XRS-bits in the AUXR register are really usefull for? In the Atmels datasheet of hte AT89C51ED2 there is the description (at page 24-26) of the classic mcs51 memory model: lower, upper memory, xram, external xram, EXTRAM bit, etc... Why using XRS bits to describe the amount of internal xram ? Is there a possibilty to share the same memory space between internal and external xram? Thanks |
