How to deal with specifics of the target hardware like this is always going to be compiler-specific.
Therefore it is impossible to answer your question without knowing which particular compiler (and version) you are using! However, this is such a fundamental requirement of anything to do with an 8051 that it is inconceivable that it is not documented in the Manual for your compiler - so check there first! |
