you say "i am having difficulty" but do not, as far as I can see indicate what the diffficulty is.
The implementation of power down is a tad derivative dependent, some set the port pins high during power down, could that upset the LCD? Anyhow: 1) what is the "difficulty" 2) which derivative 3) what are the contents of PCON before and after the instruction setb PCON.1 (use simulator or e=mulator) Erik |
