that there are some Atmel chips where some itty bitty little letter tell whether they are for USB ot 232 programming.
You may want to find that in the datasheet and check. that was on sale always a red flag. Could it be that DigiKey were offloading the last starter kits with 232 to switch to USB based versions. You have some checking to do Erik |
