#127839 - Clearer Explanation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
My objective is to generate a linear ramp for a I.O of an 8052 chip with is clocked by a 11.059Mhz crystal
I'm wondering how i could use the PWM to produce a square wave pulse (50% duty cycle) starting from 1Khz and increasing up to 40Khz (linear ramp up ). However the number of pulses should not exceed 1000 pulses, since this would cause a movement of 90mm on my x axis application. The problem is with a simple code, I was able to generate 1Khz ~ 40Khz, but could not attain a linear ramp & this causes problems for my servo application. Rgds |
