I'm starting a project for the 1553 bus which I know nothing about except that it was created in 1973 and used for avionics.
I started collecting information from Google and there is going to be alot of reading.
Does anyone have experience with this bus?
I'm looking for a nice chipset that will handle the hardware side for me while I concentrate on software. Can anyone recommend a chipset?
While I was reading about it I noticed them using transformer at each end of the bus to protect against short circuit. can this transformer be built in the chipset?
