this is for sure that u are wrong with the addressing of lcd
line 1 char1 address is 80h line 2 char 1 address is c0h after you reach to 8fh (line 1 last char) you have to send command to lcd to mov cursor to C0h location and then send data and write command charcters written on the location after 8Fh and before C0h will not be displayed on screen theough they are writen on internal ddram let me know if this solves your problem |
