I used a atmel Attiny12 to monitor the play time and it now simulates someone pressing the remote control buttons to get to the last point at which the player stopped.I had a look and there isnt any way to control the cd mechanism via the DSA interface that you find on some CD players.
It is pretty sad that the major manufacturers only produce their talking books on CD now but I suppose its cheaper for them. |
