The problem was with my Keil Simulator
not really, but as so often the problem was someone believing a simulator actually is 'real'. Very often a problem is due to someone believing a simulator, I wish the fact that a simulator simulates does not meant that it replicates could be hammered in so these mistaken beliefs would vanish. The specific issue here is that the SILabs deviates treat many things in a non-standard way, and, as I have stated many times, "If a simulator that truly simulated all derivatives were available, you could not afford it".
