Thanks for the reply Sasha. I agree with you that a software delay routine is not ideal however before jumping into timer generated delays I figured I'd get my hands dirty with software delays. You made a good point though regarding interrupts. I hadn't completely considered the effects they'd have on my delay routine. I suppose I could simply disable interrupts during the delay period but I'd have to be certain I'm not waiting on any serial data or sensor updates.
Anyways, it's good to know I'm not way out in left field. |
