The problem: Because of P89C51RD2 obsolescence problem at the end of the year, my distributor suggested me to substitute it with P89V51RD2. They seem to be pin to pin compatibles. I tried to use Flash magic to program the flash, but I’m not even able to read the security bits. I tried to use the reset circuit I used before, according to the manual, without good results. I tried to remove the connection with psen and the pullup and down. The problem still remains. The T1 and T2 times are respectively 400 and 100 ms. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.
