Note that a number is just a number: one, two, three, ...
You can choose to represent that number in whatever radix (base) you want, but it's still the same number: Number Binary Denary Hex one 00001 1 1 two 00010 2 2 three 00011 3 3 four 00100 4 4 five 00101 5 5 : ten 01010 10 A eleven 01011 11 B : fifteen 01111 15 F sixteen 10000 16 10 seventeen 10001 17 11 There is nothing different about counting in binary, denary, or hex - or any other radix you care to mention! |
