Dear Kai,
Thelam, what is the range of leakage current you are interested in? What is the purpose of your leakage current measurement? In my test, the acceptable range of leakage current is from 5-19nA at room temperature around 70-75 deg Fahrenheit, and the voltage is 20V. Anything above 20nA will be rejected. This test is performed after the diodes (DUT) are "burned" in hot chamber at 300 deg Fahrenheit for 72 hours. We have to run this test because many of our products which were designed back in 70's and still in service. These old designs use a lot of diodes and the leakage current of diodes is very critical. That is why we have to perform this test when we build the new one or replace/repair. Best regards, T.L |
