There is a - rather old - appnote at Atmel's site (under 8051 appnotes) with example software (bit-banged) I2C - look for "interfacing with 24Cxxx". Contains known good example code.
Caution, watch out for the correct timing if you use anything else than the standard 12MHz 12clocker... JW |
