Russell's solutions are your best bet for the low power you are talking of. A variant of the linearly regulated secondary outputs is to use switching regulators to generate additional rails.
If you need to deal with high power levels and need tight control of the secondary outputs, then you will want to use saturable inductor magnetic switches to adjust each secondary individually. It's very complicated though. |
