#129625 - LPC9XX - ICP - Program Configuration Failed
Hi there

I have a set of PCB's with LPC925 that I have just had manufactured they have an ICP header on them, the ICP header requires that I have the power disconnected from the PCB when I program the uC, this is OK as the PDS900 emulator I have, which also has an ICP adaptor will supply the power to the uController.

When I try and program the uC it completes the Erase Device, Blank Check, and Program Device steps and then fails at the Program Configuration step onward in the the programming tool of the PDS51E application that ships with the emulator. It appears that it is on 90% of the boards that I have, the other 10% program fine, but none of them run, despite the fact that the application runs fine in the emulator itself.

All of the ICP pins have been left unused in the application with the VDD to the uC going through a schottky diode so that the programmer will only power up the uC and not the rest of the PCB (ie the diode is reverse biased when the ICP is used).

I have swapped out the uC on one of the boards to see if it was a manufacturing fault (cooked my uControllers when they went through reflow) but it didn't make any difference, the same fault is exhibited with the new uController as well

Any thoughts on this? I have cross posted on the Acqura website as well, but the forum doesn't seem to have the same activity as here hence the post here.
