you are wrong ! The described behavior causes never, that the "circuit isn't working" nor that the "code "crashes"" ! It's only related to the power consumption in a special case. I use the 2051 mostly not battery powered and so it plays no role. On my home I use some early 2051 as a clock, buffered with a gold-cap. Since the gold-cap deliver enough power for about 8 hours, this behavior seems only related to the revision E. And also nothing about, that the work around (use revision F) not fix the problem. Please read the errata sheets more carefully in the next time ! Peter |
