#129739 - Frequency window implementation |
Hi,
I have my 8051 counting a frequency from 50KHz to 90Khz , running at 12MHz , Now I have a gating signal comming every 10micro seconds to switch the timer and prompt it to store results to a memory location ,Lets understand like this A timer counts the input frequency , but when a timing signal comming from analog triggers up the frequency present or counted at that time is to be scaled in the time period of 10micro seconds and after this it waits for 20micro seconds (Idle) and sample other frequency present for 10micro seconds when other trigger comes and update it to a memory location .What is the feasiblity of this action with 8051 can anyone explain me , or what is the best method to do this. ------f1----------f1------------f2--- <---freq counter ----|'''|-------------|'''|----------- so on <---gating pulse ____10us_____20us______10us|________ <--time,for gating ----store1----idle-----store2---------<---writing sampled freq AP |
