#12998 - RE: Is it true...
Hi,

I am not sure (only because I don't want Atmel Sue me) otherwise I am sure not sure sure not sure...................

There are people who claim to have it done. I engaged them into serious talk and what they told made sense but a very big deal of effort.

Generally Atmel's flash micro's are not trusted. Other Atmel brands like secure or AVR are still a hard nut to crack, but the flashers.......

Atmel claims that nobody has ever demonstrated hacking their any micro.

I have not seen any claims by other manufacturers............

AGAIN:

You can base your profitable project safely on Atmel's flash micors since its not a child's game to do hacking.

Back in time I myself got the URL of a company who rendered services at cost for hacking the micros. Unfortunately I lost the link. That's true.

And those who can hack are already so big Gurus that your and my code (our masterpeices) are no more than junk for them. And if they lend their services to others then the price is so high that its better and cheaper to hire a programer (Gil Simon) than to hire a hacker (Jay, Peter, Rauf Jangda....... :) ).

You can go ahead with your projects without giving a second thought of getting hacked.

What I and you can program, other's are already way up.

Don't worry and have fun.

Simon
