#130572 - Siemens Processor Identity? |
I'm currently working on reverse engineering a Siemens based, Bosch branded automotive ECU. The unit is a Bosch Motronic M2.9 or 2.9.1, and looks to be 8051/2 based.
The marks on the processor are: Siemens B58009 (c)Intel80 I'm guessing 8051/2 by the Intel copywrite on the proc itself. It's in a PLCC84 package, and after talking to some folks about what's on the eprom on the board its a non internal rom type. The rom is a 27c512, with the entire program on the rom. I've searched high and low for this part number and the exact family that it cross references to. I'm trying to disassemble the source and modify it quite a bit and I need to know what memory structure this particular chip uses to easily do that. There are MANY 8051/2 based Siemens processors all with different memory maps and pinouts. I just need to know what to go by! Just looking for any help I can get before I dive too far deep into this project. Thanks in advance! |
