#130619 - Why? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
What is the difference between 24C02&24C32? As far as I know, addressing data is the only difference between them. (If I'm wrong correct me please) 24C02 requires only 8 bit addressing but 24C32 requires 12 bit addressing. So that, in the 24C32 program, I added the DPH-high byte addressing data. As I said before, 24C02 program works without any problem. But when I modified it for 24C32 it fails!
And comments of my 24C32 program can be seen from 'My Code' post. In addition, I have observed that AT89S52 puts different outputs to P1 for different brand of EEPROMs. I mean, for ATMEL24C32, microcontroller outputs FF, but for ST Electronics-24C32 it outputs 00 to the P1.(both of their write time cycle requires 5mS) Thanks, Batuhan |
