I am considering it simply to ensure that I have fully functional stock. I don't use 805x's, or, at least, haven't very much in the past, but, since the competing parts are more costly and slower, I'm taking an interest now. Also, I have a batch of AMD components I bought back in the '80's, that has a very high incidence of "troubles" though I've not yet (and may never) figured out what the issues are. I got those from Hamilton-Avnet, but, since I did't have any tools for incoming inspection then, and don't have any now for 805x-core testing, I'm screwed.
