Anyone know if there is available an 8051/2 implementation of LLC Type 2 or something like it? The features I'm wanting are the link integrity support (message sequence discipline) and the link maintenance support in the form of the UI and supervisory frames. If there's something else, that's fine too but a standard almost always works best. If I try and invent what I want, it turns out to be awfully close to LLC Type 2, but why invent it if it's already there in coded form?
