#132711 - Code help needed
Hello,
I had earlier asked for help on this forum and got relly useful suggestions and help here.
I am posting another query here hope to get assistance in it.
I am designing an access control system, which has a fingerprint identification module, which is a hyperstone DSP.
To trigger the scanning process and other interfaces such as keypad and LCD i am using the microcontroller AT89S52.
The LCD is 2x16 HD44780 compatible LCD.
Keypad has 16 keys, in 4x4 matrix.
The LCD shows all the menus for user registration, deletion etc.
The idea is to enter the main menu the user has to enter a password, how do i code this so that whenever the user inputs password i get '*' instead of the input values on the display?
Hope i have expalined the problem clearly.
I have tried to search on google and 8052 but didnot get the useful hints.
thanks and regards
Rucha
