I agree with Peter. It will work only if assembler allows.

On any free assembler which accepts a line as comment if starting with " ; " it will give error on 1000 lines.

Its not that difficult also. Its only a matter of first putting a ";" on 1000 lines.

10 ;s one by one. Copy 10 and paste now you have 20, copy paste and copy paste........ in no time you have 1000 lines starting with ";".
