Yes. But you have to reverse the bit order of the data, because SPI is MS bit first, instead UART is LS bit first.
Possible? absolutely, but why not do it the easy way? there are a plethora of derivatives with hardware SPI from sub $1 (NXP LPC9xx) to extremely capable chips (SILabs f12x) Erik |
