Hi Alessandro,
its only depending from your application and your programming style. E.g. its possible, that the 128 byte RAM enough, but the 64kB ROM was exceeded. Also a program fitted into 4kB can exceed the 256 byte RAM internal and the 64kB external RAM. Typical can be said, that many applications fitted into the 128 byte RAM and 4kB code of the standard 8051 device. For bigger applications the 256 byte RAM and 8kB code of the 8052 was often sufficient. Peter |
