Well, I agree wit Alfredo and Jacek, The port 0 doesn't need pull up resistor. As like as what my literature said : "...Data appears on the Port 0 lines when the external memory is enabled by PSEN* or RD*. PSEN* and RD* function as memory bank selectors which the 8052 activates according to the memory access instruction. ..." And, the instructions are MOVC and MOVX.
