Thank you Andy we do indeed have a 4KB C compiler thatyou can download from the web page.

You are also correct in your assumption that a C++ compiler is unlikely for hte 8051. Very little need for one in production quantities and when I last looked into it there was significant overhead that needed to be there.

Keil (and Raisonance, I think) do free "evaluation" versions of their toolsets, which include 'C' compilers.
Obviously, these have certain restrictions.

A C++ compiler for an 8051 is a bit unlikely ;-)
