If you are not reloading the timer and you do not stay in the interupt too long you will not loss time.
Note: that your typical micro and crystal is not accurate enough to be a clock. ( several seconds or minutes a month). The matrix is simple. Turn off the column drivers Turn on the driver for 1 column, output the data for that column. repeat in a timed manner for each column. (as fast interupt work well) Do it so fast that people can not see it flicker. |
