Well, I agree but:
- some projects may not utilize startup.asm; - other projects may use registers` banks or data from 0x08; - RET to 0x0000 does not mean hardware reset (!). in other words - and who cares what happens when you do not code correctly garbage in equals garbage out Nobody knows and what is the purpose of guessing I gave the solution in http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=135104 If you know what to do, why guess on what happens if you do not do what you know you have to do Erik |
