When I do a PCB for a computer system, I began to realize that my working one had the latch closer to the CPU. The systemd that didn't work had the latch after the memory.

I have to agree that excessively long tracks make the system function terrible.

So I was just wondering, is there an equation that I can use, given the length, and width of a track, that can determine the maximum frequency that can successfully pass through it?
