#135305 - I know the calculation Responding to: ???'s previous message |
What I mean here is how to convert logarithmic voltage increment to linear voltage increment, if it's possible. I cannot get the resolution I wanted using a linear 16 bit or 8 bit ADC, and yes I tried lookup table according to calculation, but the incremental values are different at small numbers and large numbers (yes, they're logarithmic). I can get the wanted resolution using 24 bit ADC, but it's quite difficult to find them in my country (e.g. Indonesia) and of course it needs a lot of coding algorithm which - i'm afraid - needs a lot of precious space and timing of my 89S52. So, if possible, I need to convert them at voltage level, and not using lookup tables. |
