#135604 - Watch for noise Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How are you determining the peaks? Just looking for largest and smallest value? If so, watch out for noise. A little noise near the peaks can make your "peak" value larger (or smaller) than it should be.
You might consider doing a rolling average of the peaks--or a rolling average of the RMS--as an easy solution to try to get some of the noise out of the system. Regards, Craig Steiner |
