He doesn't even say whether he's decided that an 805x-core MCU is the target. He could also say whether it's a kitchen appliance or a communication sattelite that he's producing. Consultants have areas of expertise (strengths), and they have weaknesses. If you don't tell them what you need, you're asking for trouble.
Some embedded consultants are expert in packaging as well. Most, I'd say, are not. Packaging is often assigned to mechanical, rather than electrical, engineers. RE |
