Hello guyz i m using peter danneger software to programme MCU. However this doesn't work while working on XP.
The web page of Peter clearly states: "The programmer is tested under DOS or WINDOWS (3.xx or 95/98). A 386SX or higher CPU was needed." It is an MSDOS application, and as up to Windows 98, the core of it all was DOS, it will run up to Win98 (command prompt, no gui). Running it on XP is NOT supported, as XP is no longer backwards compatible with DOS and or WIN95/98. There may be ways to do it, but I am no Windows expert, so I can't offer much help. I can say however that the program does run in Linux in a DOSEMU-box. You could try something like "FLIP" from Atmel, but make sure you got the 8051 derivative that is supported. There are probably other manufacturers that offer similar programs, but you will have to search the forum, or google... regards Patrick |
