I have used AEC ISP software with a simple hardware interface connected to a PC Printer port for programming 89S8252 Atmel microprocessors without problems.
Now I am trying to program the 89S8253.
I have changed the software (because the 89S8253 is not supported by AEC ISP) by ISP Programmer downloaded from www.ikalogic.com, this software accept AEC ISP hardware interface.
Now I can program old 89S8252 but not the new 89S8253, the software recognizes the 89S8253 insterted in the hardware interface but returns an error in writing to Flash process.
I have read in this forum about incompatibilities with the 89S8253.
I aprecciate any suggestion about the problem with this programming interface or the right software-interface to program the 89S8253.
