Is it necessary to remove rs485 connection while programming,even if there is no communication on rs485 line?(all devices on 485 line turned off)
with an AND, not if it is properly biased. if you have 3 resistor terminations (which you should in any case) the Rx output is high out when nothing is connected. Have not done 232 for ages, but if I recall it is high out if no connection, if not add a resistor. Erik |
