But as I said, the AT89S8252 was discontinued after the book was submitted for publishing--the book was no rewritten because nothing in the AT89S8253 changed substantially from the '8252 to invalidate what was written in the book. In the process of updating the program to work with the '8253, the process to program the '8252 was damaged. Since the AT89S8252 was discontinued and since the program was intended primarily for the 8052.com SBC and since the 8052.com SBC was not being sold with the '8252, fixing the error has not been a priority. If you don't have an 8052.com SBC yet, what are you using the VisISP program with? And where/why did you get an AT89S8252? They've been discontinued for over a year. Regards, Craig Steiner |
