how do you program, C, asm??
how do you plan to store the hex code that you will be programming? RAM, eeprom? An old Dallas 5000 would be the easiest because of the large ram, and you will have lots of pins for the keypad & LCD display, but there are lots of options less expensive. I used the Dallas 5000 because I had one. you can look here for some source code, but its not stand alone, you will have to do that yourself. http://chaokhun.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit...1/easy.htm Routines are pretty straight forward, and there are not that many pins on that small chip. (get the datasheet!) I did this with an LCD and 4x3 keypad, but it was for avr. (whoops, is this a bad word on this forum?) Good Luck |
